This Working at Heights training course gives the participants the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries.It applies to those working in operational roles who are required to work at heights. The training is compliant to the Code of Practice Managing the Risks of Falls at Workplaces.
1 day. Courses start at 7.30am and are usually completed by 3.30pm. Lunch is provided to learners on full day courses held at the CTC Training Centres

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to work safety at heights in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit it appropriate for those working in operational roles where they are required to perform work at heights. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and Industry sectors. Relevant information must be sourced prior to application of the unit.
Attendees are required to wear suitable / high visability work clothes, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses and steel capped boots. If you can not bring your own PPE you may be able borrow some from CTC Safety.
Assessment may include written questionnaires, practical demonstrations, oral questioning and participation in group activities or teamwork exercises.
CTC Safety will award successful participants with a Statement of Attainment certificate and a wallet size plastic card.

The training can also be delivered for a group booking at one of our training facilities or on your site or at your premises - Discounts apply for group bookings!
