Earthmoving Plant Operation Verification of Competency (VOC) in NSW

CTC Safety delivers Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments for experienced earthmoving and plant operators in civil construction, mining, quarrying, and infrastructure projects.

VOCs verify existing skills on excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, compactors, haul trucks, skid steers, backhoes, telescopic handlers, and elevating work platforms.

VOC certificates are valid for 2 years.

Assessments include practical demonstration on real machinery by qualified assessors.

Onsite assessments on your equipment with minimal downtime are available NSW wide. (Discounts apply for group bookings). Evidence of prior competency is required.

• RIIHAN301E – Operate elevating work platform: VOC for safe EWP operation under 11m – for experienced operators in civil construction and maintenance across Sydney @ Emu Plains, Tuggerah, Beresfield, or onsite NSW-wide.

• RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations: VOC verifying lifting and shifting skills with telescopic handlers – for material handling in civil projects.

• RIIMPO316E – Conduct self-propelled compactor operations: Verification for compacting materials using self-propelled compactors.

• RIIMPO317F – Conduct roller operations: VOC for roller use in surface compaction.

• RIIMPO318F – Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations: Verification for experienced skid steer (Bobcat) operators.

• RIIMPO319E – Conduct backhoe/loader operations: VOC for backhoe/loader excavating and loading.

• RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations: Verification for experienced excavator operators in trenching and loading.

• RIIMPO321F – Conduct civil construction wheeled front end loader operations: VOC for loading and stockpiling with wheeled loaders.

Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments are non-accredited but provide evidence of existing skills for workplace or project requirements. VOCs are valid for 2 ye4ars (recommended for ongoing compliance).
